The Kirksville Area Chamber of Commerce is a not for profit organization dedicated to assuming a leadership role in advancing the overall business, cultural and civic welfare of the Kirksville area. These goals are accomplished by the cooperation of the Chamber board, staff, and committees. Each and every day the Chamber assists callers and walk-in visitors with questions about area businesses and our community. In addition, the Chamber serves as a local information center for tourists. Providing Kirksville maps and area phone books, driving directions to local attractions and sometimes a lesson on local history are only a few ways the Chamber contributes to the community.
The Chamber also plans and supports various community events and promotes our town with various tourism and advertising initiatives. The Kirksville Area Chamber of Commerce currently has 322 members, including large industries and the small merchant just starting a business. Represented in the Chamber are retail, professional, not for profit, and governmental organizations, as well as individual residents of the Kirksville area and retirees from the business community.
